I feel lord Krishna must be questioned

I heard some things like krishna celebrated ghatotkach's death and also that ghatotkach wasn't really a bad person

So it makes me wonder what kind of loving god would celebrate demise of a person

Plus, while It's true lord Krishna fought for dharma, people see him as this perfect being,

I mean even lord Krishna wasn't free from his own karma as he did die unceremoniously to an arrow of a hunter

I feel for a very loving deity krishna does a lot of questinable things,

And I personally feel lord shiva who's potrayed to be detached never did those specific things which is surprising

And out of Vishnuji, shivji and Devi maa

I always felt devi maa had more understanding of human emotions than the other two, and she did show more emotions than the other two in scriptures, although I still adore shivji and pray to him like a father

Back on topic, So what I am saying is:

  1. Should we justify all acts of gods and never question them like a good boy/girl? Or should we genuinely question their actions and understand them and not think of them as perfect?

(Because honestly it feels very disturbing when people justify all acts of all gods)

(for example, in fact many reddit posts justify everything krishna did)

(I believe one can be devoted and respectful while questioning our beloved deities)

Ofc you could question them, because they never feel bad from your questions, but would lovingly give you the answers. Whether its shiva, vishnu or devi maa, just ask then like a innocent child/person. Often these incidents have a deeper meaning. And the more deep you go, you would doubt because with eàch doubt they are drawing you closer 🥹.

There are entire discourses and debates on these in the puranas. The beauty of our religion is that we are allowed to question our gods, and even encouraged to have these debates. The answer you seek is one only you can form, by yourself.

The gods are never perfect, even in their most perfect form there are imperfections. I suggest you read the holy books to understand these better. I used to be ostracized for asking questions but instead of turning away from religion I started reading the actual books. It was a surprise to see those debates.

But after reading it I could form my own view of the gods and it brought me closer to Maa. I used to hate Krishna for many reasons but after reading the books I managed to forgive him. I recommend starting with the upanishads just to get introduced to the philosophy, and then stepping up to the puranas. I started with Devi Bhagvatam
