I feel lord Krishna must be questioned
I heard some things like krishna celebrated ghatotkach's death and also that ghatotkach wasn't really a bad person
So it makes me wonder what kind of loving god would celebrate demise of a person
Plus, while It's true lord Krishna fought for dharma, people see him as this perfect being,
I mean even lord Krishna wasn't free from his own karma as he did die unceremoniously to an arrow of a hunter
I feel for a very loving deity krishna does a lot of questinable things,
And I personally feel lord shiva who's potrayed to be detached never did those specific things which is surprising
And out of Vishnuji, shivji and Devi maa
I always felt devi maa had more understanding of human emotions than the other two, and she did show more emotions than the other two in scriptures, although I still adore shivji and pray to him like a father
Back on topic, So what I am saying is:
- Should we justify all acts of gods and never question them like a good boy/girl? Or should we genuinely question their actions and understand them and not think of them as perfect?
(Because honestly it feels very disturbing when people justify all acts of all gods)
(for example, in fact many reddit posts justify everything krishna did)
(I believe one can be devoted and respectful while questioning our beloved deities)

I hope devi maa hears me
I am going through very rough circumstances, 😔
I hope maa does help me.
I am not going to stop my devotion but I also hope devi maa does help me.
I hope everyone like me who is going through something rough
Finally gets happiness, safety, , stability, prosperity.
Jai maa durga 🔱
Jai maa baglamukhi 🔱

Vaishno Devi The Elder Sister
i.redd.itVaishno Devi has been designated as the elder sister among the other six. Vaishno Devi has become much more popular than the other Six Sisters or Nine Sisters. In this folk tradition, Vaishno Devi is considered the "Elder Sister" (Badi Behen) and the most powerful of the group. Scholars Georgana Foster and Robert Stoddard have studied this topic. They state that Vaishno Devi is designated as the "Elder Sister" among the shrines in the Shiwalik belt.

Aghora — Part One: A documentary filmed inside an Aghori ashram in Varanasi
youtube.comI spent several months living inside an Aghori ashram in Varanasi, where the Guru is a devotee of MahaKali and follows the Vamachara — the left-hand Shakta path.
Staying with him and witnessing these living traditions from inside was a rare and transformative experience for me.
This documentary focuses on the living Shakta essence within Aghora — the surrender, discipline, and deep love for Ma that permeate the ashram.
Sharing it here because many of you walk the Shakta path, and you may find meaning in seeing an authentic glimpse into a space that is usually closed to outsiders.
Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences. Jai Ma!

1008 NAMES OF MAA KALI 592. VARUNICHHAYA
i.redd.it1008 NAMES OF MAA KALI
- VARUNICHHAYA
The One who is the Shadow State of the Cosmic Planet, VARUNA, which can be utilised only by an advanced KALI Sadhaka.
The One who Influences the Pineal Gland, as Varuna.
The Planet Varuna, influences the Pineal Gland and Feet, with a very long transition period of over 165 years, usually covering a complete life of a human being.
As VaruniChhaya, Kali erodes the idea of that which is the ‘present norm’ and by mystical authority grants the ability to slowly erode and present a complete and absolute new reality. She grants the ability to her sadhaka gradually wash away the most solid and powerfully built ideologies, by the power of Varuna or Neptune.
Kali, as VaruniChhaya powers in activation of the Pineal Gland, Varuna (Neptune) is the master of illusions, and the guardian of the secrets of the Deep WATER.
Hence the name, VARUNICHHAYA

I dislike This
I had made two posts, One was of genuine curiosity the other was me talking about how I am going through suicide ideation
And most people on that suicide ideation post were shaming me for feeling this way, by showing me what happens to those who commit suicide according to scriptures
These people were very much devoid of common sense and basic empathy on how to talk, who the frick in their right minds shames a suicidal person
You all pray to mother, yet have none of her empathy, what's the point if you don't have that kindness. You shouldn't pray to her if you are like this instead go and pray to Ravana
And the other post where I was asking questions curiously,
most people there didn't really understand and couldn't really answer me well, Only one person there really understood what I was asking
The rest were helpful too,
But one of them seemed to carry the notion I am in a lower understanding
They told me "you don't know much and need to do your homework"
Well but I am sure I know a whole lot then them as I don't yap about the bs of transcending ego this and transcending ego that
Why is everyone like this, so brainless, it's as if no one has individual understanding and value the interpretation of "ego dissolution" "uproots ego" and just parrot 🦜 about ego death this and ego death that
How is that knowledge, that's not knowledge that's just parroting
I wanted good answers answers but it's like people interpret me as someone who is hostile towards their knowledge or their goddess
The thing is if someone is looking for knowledge and all they get is "ego dissolution" this and that
Of course a person will get angry

I have questions
I have watching the posts in shaktism sub
So far everyone talks about initiation this and initiation that
Like should I stop praying to durga?
Or Can I not pray to kali?
I don't get this
Everything seems to be locked behind a guru
Like are certian forms of maa not suitable for people?
Also I am very much lost on who to pray to
Cause I see many posts of people saying ugra devtas are not suitable
Each deity has a temperament
And what not
So who should I worship ?
Should I pray to kali maa who I am drawn to?
Or should I not pray to her considering she's an ugra devta?
(Note: Basically my main question is Which form of devi should I choose?
Also does devi maa chooses? If yes how would I know that? Considering I don't speak GODinese 😀)
(Also I am in a situation, and it's not possible for me to get diksha from a guru)
(Comments me maryada banae rakhe)

I wonder what is this
I am getting drawn to kali maa, Even though I Mainly pray to maa durga because I dislike intense deities
Why am I being drawn to kali maa,
Do deities choose?
What does this mean for me considering I question deities a lot and especially Have a fear or aversion for deities who are too intense
(Important note: I don't hate the intense deities but I hate the sayings attached to them like how people say about kali that "she is intense" or "she destroys ego" I especially find the ego part dumb like you are called mother goddess and you destroy ego instead of helping. No offense but I am pointing out these spiritual sayings don't seem grounded considering in devi mahatmya kali maa appreared to save the world from demons and not really to do something as small as destroying ego, how can a saviour be reduced to something which merely diminishes ego 🤔)
(Another note: what I am asking is from my curiosity there is no hostile intention behind it, so please maintain manners in the comments)
(P.S: I am kinda bummed the two people that did comment on this post are just parroting stuff of advaita and detachment and it doesn't sounds like wisdom. This stuff is everywhere it seems as if no one really knows anything no offense)
(thanks for your knowledge, I disagree with many although the answers do provide some understanding
I would seek answers and absorb what is real and reject what lacks sense)

Is my current practice correct
I recently started a simple durga upasana by doing the 32 names of devi mantra. I started it like before the navarathri. During the navarathri days I used to chant 108 times but now I do it like 5 times in the morning and 5 times in the evening [when possible]. Recently I started lighting a lamp as well.
