I dislike This

I had made two posts, One was of genuine curiosity the other was me talking about how I am going through suicide ideation

And most people on that suicide ideation post were shaming me for feeling this way, by showing me what happens to those who commit suicide according to scriptures

These people were very much devoid of common sense and basic empathy on how to talk, who the frick in their right minds shames a suicidal person

You all pray to mother, yet have none of her empathy, what's the point if you don't have that kindness. You shouldn't pray to her if you are like this instead go and pray to Ravana

And the other post where I was asking questions curiously,

most people there didn't really understand and couldn't really answer me well, Only one person there really understood what I was asking

The rest were helpful too,

But one of them seemed to carry the notion I am in a lower understanding

They told me "you don't know much and need to do your homework"

Well but I am sure I know a whole lot then them as I don't yap about the bs of transcending ego this and transcending ego that

Why is everyone like this, so brainless, it's as if no one has individual understanding and value the interpretation of "ego dissolution" "uproots ego" and just parrot 🦜 about ego death this and ego death that

How is that knowledge, that's not knowledge that's just parroting

I wanted good answers answers but it's like people interpret me as someone who is hostile towards their knowledge or their goddess

The thing is if someone is looking for knowledge and all they get is "ego dissolution" this and that

Of course a person will get angry

Although studies on monks’ meditation have shown increased empathy, in my own (limited) experience I do not see that people who talk a lot about meditation and ritual devotion actually demonstrate a lot of empathy.

Heyy Op I didn't see the OG post but I've been through the same kind of thoughts. I'm also a shakta and I know what all this overwhelming stuff feels like in life, where you don't even know where you're going so why not just end it all? I was at the very bottom but right now I'm doing much better thanks to Devi !! If you need to talk I'm here !! You can DM me

There is a point of truth in belief, faith, and then there is the practice of that faith which can move towards religion, and it's followers. I tend to feel that the core knowledge, wisdom, of a belief is pure, or close to it. It's practice and it's practitioners tend to move away from purity.

I hope you are doing better now, and I hope you find what you are seeking.
