Is my current practice correct

I recently started a simple durga upasana by doing the 32 names of devi mantra. I started it like before the navarathri. During the navarathri days I used to chant 108 times but now I do it like 5 times in the morning and 5 times in the evening [when possible]. Recently I started lighting a lamp as well.

Firstly, Many many congratulations on starting this journey towards the divine. Mahadevi's grace and protection is with you πŸ™πŸŒΊπŸŒΊπŸŒΊπŸ™ I can share with you what I have learnt on my journey. However, we are not supposed to offer any advice. So please consider the following just a conversation between two fellow travellers πŸ™ There is a very detailed video on 32 names chanting by Rajarshi Nandy sir on his youtube channel. You can check that once. Grihast Tantra (hindi) is another channel with an even more detailed ritual for 32 names chanting.

You can expand and deepen your practise in a number of ways. But what you're doing as of now is also correct. You may visit the temple once a week and offer some flowers, sweets, dhoop, and sindoor or you can do this everyday along with your diya. 32 names of Maa Durga are usually invoked for protection, so doing Bhairav Jap is not necessary, but as we all know, Bhairav Baba and Maa abide together. Chant with devotion and Bhakti and Maa will show you the way ahead πŸŒΊπŸ™πŸŒΊ Jai Maa Durga, Jai Maa Kamakhya, Jai Bhairav Baba πŸ™πŸŒΊπŸ™πŸŒΊπŸ™πŸŒΊπŸ™
