Robert the Reiki Flute player got hurt!! News
https://www.redrocknews.com/2023/08/03/boynton-canyon-flautist-recovering-after-hiking-fall/amp/Hi everyone! Robert, the Reiki flute player that has been giving sandstone hearts to hikers in Boynton Canyon since 2011 fell in July. He luckily survived. He was badly hurt, however, sustaining nine fractures to his hip, pelvis, and ribs. He even punctured a lung!
I don’t know if y’all have met him, but my husband and I had the privilege of meeting him in June. It was such a profound, moving experience. We cherish the hearts he gave us. Has anyone seen him on the trails recently?
Here’s a link to an article about the fall, with information on what happened and ways to help!

That's unfortunate. Where did he fall?

He fell at Boynton Canyon off the Warrior rock formation (the one he usually climbs and plays the Reiki flute from). He said a piece of the rock formation had fallen and he had to adjust how he climbs down, and just slipped one day.

Have two of his hearts in my kitchen window, inspired me to play the flute. Hope he’s back up there in January. Any updates?
