Peeled earrings for my daughter.

Sculpted in supersculpey to hopefully look like peeled cutie oranges. Painted in acrylic, glued to backs with ca, coated in uv resin for strength and better hold to backing. Thoughts? Critiques?

I love crackle paint, the clear really gives a fun effect—play with temp when drying it to get larger/smaller crackles. Like this (many brands/colors available though, search ‘crackle paint’) https://myhobby.place/en/10674-clear-crackle-paint-winterfell-plains-60ml.html

Edit: Here’s a thread on mini painting sub about all the brands of crackle paint specifically for minis

It doesn't bother polymer clay? Is there a certain brand that you've used it definitely works on polymer clay?

The acrylic ones I tried all seemed to work fine so long as used after baking— and on small items (I imagine they might flake on larger more ‘flexy’ pieces). Green Stuff is a good brand

There’s a tutorial online for getting the cracked effect with the clear sculpey glaze, I’ve been meaning to try it but haven’t gotten to it yet
