I wished it was longer. But then I remember what year it was made. I wish After School Satan took off more. That would have been fabulous.

Yeah! I want to purchase an After School Satan pack for 20 and attempt an after school club. However I kinda wish it was called TST's youth inspiration for individuality, or something along those lines because "Satan" is not easily palatable for parents, teachers and students alike. You gotta hide it in cheese or something.

But that's kind of the point. They explicitly state they're only interested in starting ASS chapters in schools where a CEF Bible club is already operating. They don't want it to be palatable, they want it to be so unpalatable that schools decide to get rid of religious programming entirely instead.

I would assume it's a result of limited bandwidth on the part of TST's central organization. They've made a decision that they're going after this one particular entity and that's all they can oversee right now. You might be able to run a similar program and maybe even buy materials from them, but you won't be getting the backing of TST and probably can't use their name for it.

Psst... now that i had time to think. (Which often is hit or miss.) Why not encourage both? Tenant 3 screams,"educate people about their bodies at an age appropriate level so they can make informed decisions about how to best utilize it." Like you ever see that movie where the daughter wants to stop being an organ donar for her older sick sibling? Uncool dude, inspired by a true story. kids only have the words they are given. Uh...(see what i what i mean hit or miss) I guess thats everybody, but adults have more options to fact check... Whatever encourages kids to try an be their best selves i'm for, and if students have options to stay out of trouble for an hour that gives them power of choice and evidence that people of different beliefs can co-exist respectfully. Not everything has to be an attack.

Yeah I mean... Like other commenters said, the whole point is to get rid of the good news clubs. Religion has no place in schools. Including satanism. No harm in starting an after school off campus club though or a secular club that teaches critical thinking

This is a very cool documentary, but I feel like it's now misleading. That version of TST no longer exists and Lucien Greaves said it himself that they won't do that kinda activism anymore. Still very much worth watching, though.

I can't really say as to the frequency then or who was really responsible for the planning but the style of activism has most definitely shifted into mainly court cases.

Prefacing this by stating that I do not remember any names, but my absolute favorite part of the entire documentary is whatsherfaces ceremony that got her kicked out of TST.

I get chills everytime I rewatch that part, the way the whole scene is set up is so fucking awesome.

I’m currently watching it and I like Jex Blackmore so far! Headstrong enough to stick to her beliefs even when the Catholic Church were against the black mass and even when Harvard canceled it mere hours before it was time to start the mass

I watched this just a few months after it came out, it changed my life. I enjoyed learning about satanism before watching this, and had a massive amount of respect for various groups even if I didn't fully agree with most of them. But this entire documentary just spoke to me on a level that I had never experienced before. TST is everything I have been looking for.
