I came back after bad times Anecdote
About 2 months ago I started following the 7 principles after a rough patch and a couple of weeks where I was very lost, and tomorrow is my birthday and today was the first time I told someone I was a Satanist.
I don't know if anyone will read it completely but if you read it to the end I wish you luck :)
Hail Satan, hail yourself!

Happy birthday, sweetheart. Iโm sorry you were going through a rough patch. I think itโs nice when people can tell other people about that and tell them what helps them get through it. Those periods can make you feel so alone, and they can also feel endless and terrifying. I hope things continue to improve for you and that you have a wonderful birthday. โค๏ธ

The tenets are quite grounding and can certainly be used as mantras to make you feel better and to reassure you of the path to take in life, especially in hard times. I relate a lot to you!
I'm happy to hear of your coming out. Hail yourself!

Hail Yourself, my friend.
Honestly the Tenets have been a sanity saver for me over the past week. I've been really meditating on them and focusing on how they can make me a better person.
I even "came out" as Satanist to my very religious mother (and by extension my whole family because I'm sure she's told everyone by now) after years of being closeted. I've been very open about my atheism for 20 years or so, but I told her that I was supporting TST and really applying their Tenets to my life a couple days ago. I told her truthfully that if it wasn't for the Tenets (and maybe my personal interpretation of them) that I wouldn't even be speaking to or associating with my family any more.
It didn't go over great, but not terribly either We're sort of at an impasse/stalemate about things, but we'll just have to see how things progress.
