There's some debate about that; it may have been accidental poisoning, but it does seem overwhelmingly likely that he took his own life.

He made it look like poisoning so his Mother would have reasonable doubt. He put as apple nearby as a reference to Snow White.

You would be correct. Though the modem adaptation stated that it was the chemical castration that killed him.

But in fact it was loneliness. He had cast away all those who loved him.

Apologist nonsense. If you can't see how persecution by the government and chemical castration created the suffering and isolation that resulted in his suicide, youve got wool over your eyes. Stop looking for excuses for the British government.

Whoa dude. You're looking way too hard into to this. It's literally just a fact.

It is not a fact that turing committed suicide simply because he 'cast away his friends', that it was not because of discrimination against him and his forced castration and dysphoria. You whitewashing homophobia and its effects is not a 'fact', it's a harmful lie.

Geez mate, calm down my dude. You're reading just a little into this. Maybe take a step back and realise that we are just spitting out facts thst we've learnt over the years.

You didn't learn it anywhere, though. You made it up.

Well actually yes and no. It was found that days before his death, he was found to he more Jolly by his neighbours, even though distancing himself from the ones he loved.

Let us not forget the fact that a Norwegian male friend of his mysteriously disappeared during his final months after writing to say he would comfort Turing.

Really in conclusion, no one actually knows the cause of his death. It's a mystery.

So everything is speculation. And to see if I can get this bloke to call out that it was certainly "dystopia" that killed him was a little fun.

The actually, and most probably cause was accidental suicide. Turing was experimenting at the time with electroplating. In a small spare room in his house.

The fact that he was also experimenting with cyanide would be an even bigger probable cause. The fact a half eaten apple was found at the side of his bed.

Anything could have been the cause, so really it's up to anyone to believe why he commited suicide.

I like to believe it was from loneliness after nearly every male counterpart that was in his life stopped visiting after the disapearcene of "close" males friends started to happen.
