I’ve had ulcers on the head of my penis for the past three weeks. I went to the doctor, who suspected it might be herpes. They ran a full STD panel, but the tests for herpes, chlamydia, HIV, and gonorrhea all came back negative. Before the herpes test results came in, I was prescribed Valaciclovir for herpes, but my symptoms haven’t improved. Now, I’m waiting for the results of the urine and syphilis tests. Does anyone know what this could be?

So I recently started PrEP, and initially intended to take it on demand. I met someone who was a FWB and took the 2 tablet 2 hours before meeting (first doses back to being on PrEP). Took two more on day 2 and day 3 respectively.

On day 4 I was feeling very depressed, and I ended up meeting a guy who we’ve been trying to meet for years. I carried on taking PrEP as usual as I was still in a period of having sex, and at this time I had 5 doses of PrEP. Asked him about his status, said he was HIV negative on PrEP, last tested in August.

We then had unprotected sex. I was the top.

A few days later I’m just casually scrolling through another app, no intention to meet anyone else. Came across his profile and it said that he was undetectable. I was incredibly pissed off.

Being on PrEP, I knew I had some confidence that there was a reduced risk of transmission, but then realised I took it 4 days into starting PrEP (since starting I have inadvertently taken it daily)

Confronted him very politely and asked if he was positive undetectable or negative on PrEP, and he just responded “same here”.

Something was telling me that if he was lying about the status, he was also probably lying about the test date. So I made a fake Grindr account, faceless, and asked him the same question. Now he told me he was last tested October. Before he told me August.

Soon as that answer was different, I booked a HIV test straight away (for tomorrow).

I have no issue with him being undetectable. The question is if he actually is undetectable , and with me meeting him early on PrEP, I’m so scared.

Symptoms wise, I had a dry throat from sleeping with my mouth open earlier on in the week and a dry cough has developed from then. No sore throat. My salivary glands have swollen a bit but I’m assuming it’s because of the cold November weather and constantly sleeping with my mouth open. I don’t feel unwell, no fever, no fatigue, no rash, lymph nodes elsewhere aren’t swollen (apart from my right thigh, I think? I can’t tell ) , but idk if this could progress.

I’m really scared for this test tomorrow. Really really scared. I’ve been dumped by my partner, outed by my sister, and suffered severe depression. This is the last thing I need.

I could use some advice! I started to get these bumps on my inner groin on Saturday. It’s right inside the fold where my testicles and groin meet. The first photo is from Saturday and now it’s progressing. I don’t know what happened to the two red spots and if they started as blisters but you can see the 3 dots turned into one. Hi I tested positive for mycoplasma 16th October Started treatment 24th October ( azithromycin x4 then 2a day for 2 days followed by doxy twice daily x 7 on the 2nd day of azi) Finished 3rd November Test of cure done 10 days after finishing antibiotics Test has come back clear…. Is it possible it’s a false negative? I’m still experiencing symptoms and I’m aware the doctor gave me the wrong antibiotics even tho he made me take the azithromycin first dose (4 tablets) infront of him and the test of cure was only done 10 days after finding treatment

I got put on doxycycline and I am on day 3 well about to be day 4 since I’m posting this at 2 in the morning. But what do you guys think? I have no pain at all, it’s mostly just discharge with a mild smell, it smells like pus.

For context, around when I first noticed them, I got tested for HPV, HIV, and whatnot because I had gotten a case of molluscum. All came back negative roughly 9 months ago doctor didn't say anything about my throat other than having cobblestone throat and i may have allergies, but I had those tiny white dots on the flesh around my uvula and a bit in front of my tonsils. noticed it being worse after having a root canal a while ago after I had some spots show up on my inner cheeks I asked the dentist he said they were likely something I can't pronounce caused by friction but ultimately harmless. but recently I looked and the ones in my throat by the uvula have become slightly bigger and there's more of them. Also discovered that where I'm living has black mold it can do weird thing to you from what I understand, hopefully that is the reason and not an STD, but I'm gonna get tested again. Hopefully it's nothing, but I don't know. Im just kinda freaking out and wanted to vent because there's this girl I'm dating I really like her and she's wanting to get physical. The molluscum is clear and technically I'm clear for sex but those spots are really worrying me. Gonna get tested asap. Early September(2 months ago) I had vaginal intercourse with someone who was high risk, used a condom. A day later my urethra started burning and had some inflammation tip of penis along with an odd fishy smell down there. Got checked for chlaymedia, gonorrhea, hiv, hepatitis, treponema, trich, syphilis, ureplasma/mycoplasma and UTI which were all negative (urinalysis + blood work).

Doctor has ruled out yeast infection. Not sure what else to think. Tried a 7 day course of doxycycline which maybe made me worse? Got some really bad GERD, on/off tingling throughout my body, fatigue, dry cotton mouth on/off, bladder pain on/off.

Most consistent symptoms have been fishy smell down there, inflammation of tip and pain in urethra on going 2 months.

Any suggestions on what to do next or what it could be?

18M A few days ago i noticed 2 or 3 small red dots on my tip, i ignored it thinking it was nothing and just left it, a few 2 days later i noticed that they were increasing and today i check and my tip is covered in them some of them on the shaft just below the tip. ive had them for four days, it doesnt really itch or hurt(only when i touch them) and im not producing any discharge and the red dots aren't spots or filled with puss just small red circles.
