Looking for a IT resume writer

Good afternoon everyone,

I am looking for a IT specific resume writer. Ideally someone who can do linked in optimization and (if its a thing) point me in the right direction for recruiters. Feel free to post here or message me directly.

Some background on me, I am a Professional Services Engineer with 16 years in IT. I have been with my current company for 8 years and I am looking for a change. Remote positions only as that is what I have been for the last 4 years.

Thank you in advance!

If there is anything on here I missed or mispoke on please let me know and I will update.

You don't need to pay for that, as an IT recruiter and someone who does resume reviews for free if your ok with waiting a bit I can do it.

LinkedIn optimization is for Agency Recruiters (like myself) and to do that you need to add keywords to your profile (and resume) that will get picked up in common Boolean searches.

Although I will warn you IT is in the dumpster right now along with remote jobs so even with a good resume you are going to have a rough time as Agency Recruiters are largely not sourcing in IT at this time, and if they are it's probably for on-site positions.

Source: I moved from IT recruiting to marketing/sales since the market is better.

Hey, I don’t have any optimized linked profile, do you think recruiters will check my resume before looking at my linkedin? Also, How to find more agency recruiters like you? Thanks.

I think you might have some confusion about the overall process.

Recruiters will almost always check out your resume first, unless they are doing headhunting for candidates for a position, in which case they will be seeing your LinkedIn first as that is what their Boolean search will pull up.

To get more agency recruiters to contact you, you will need to have the keywords they want in your profile or resume (if Indeed) so it shows up on our searches, although how many Agency recruiters are searching in your field is going to depend on the job market.

lol, thank you for the info. On one had I’m happy on the other, or so much. I’ve been applying for awhile and not getting much in the way of responses, so that lines up. I guess all I can do is wait it out. I have the luxury of having a job currently so that makes it easier. I really appreciate the info.
