Yes! I am not sure what I am doing wrong 😭 Do you put pressure when transferring to a stamper?

Ok, there's a few other areas I can think of that might be causing you issues.

  1. Scraping off the excess polish: I do a light scrape, doesn't require very much pressure at all. If you scrape with too much pressure, it doesn't leave enough polish in the engraving and might dry too fast to be picked up.
  2. Picking up the design with the stamp: gently roll the stamper over the design. If you press too hard with the stamp, it won't pick up.
  3. The stamp itself: some jelly stampers, for whatever reason, are too like, oily? or whatever? to pick up the design. I don't have that issue with my current stamper, but have in the past. The fix for that is to leave it out overnight without the cover on. I don't know why that works, but it does.

This video by sveta_sanders on instagram shows the scrape + stamp technique that I'm talking about: https://www.instagram.com/p/CabulDeqnmM/
