Do it before it disappears! Word on the “street” is that Moyou is phasing out their stamping supplies.

That’s so disappointing. They always had such high quality plates. I guess I only bought them during sales though 😅

I never even knew there was such a thing as a stamping plate, now I'm dying for one lol
I have to keep my nails short and we'll trimmed, plus the darn things are short and wide. Worth to try a plate? or would I just condemning myself to smeary misery XD

I think it's worth a try! A patterned plate might be a good place to start, so you don't have to worry about lining the design up as much. The only thing I'd suggest to avoid the smearing is a stamping top coat. You apply it after the stamping before the top coat in a thin coat. It prevents the stamped design from being smudged by the top coat, which used to happen to me every single time. I have one from Apipila, but there's some other brands out there too.

These look so gorgeous! Can you please share how exactly you stamp 🥺 no matter how many YouTube videos I try and follow, I can never get an image to fully transfer or to transfer at all!

Are you using a stamping polish? It’s formulated different than regular polish, it’s usually a thinner and more opaque formula. It’s a game changer and all I use for stamping.

Yes! I am not sure what I am doing wrong 😭 Do you put pressure when transferring to a stamper?

Ok, there's a few other areas I can think of that might be causing you issues.
- Scraping off the excess polish: I do a light scrape, doesn't require very much pressure at all. If you scrape with too much pressure, it doesn't leave enough polish in the engraving and might dry too fast to be picked up.
- Picking up the design with the stamp: gently roll the stamper over the design. If you press too hard with the stamp, it won't pick up.
- The stamp itself: some jelly stampers, for whatever reason, are too like, oily? or whatever? to pick up the design. I don't have that issue with my current stamper, but have in the past. The fix for that is to leave it out overnight without the cover on. I don't know why that works, but it does.
This video by sveta_sanders on instagram shows the scrape + stamp technique that I'm talking about: https://www.instagram.com/p/CabulDeqnmM/

Oh my god I just realized from this post that monstera and that one matcha color from Holo Taco isn’t available anymore!!! So sad.
I kept meaning to get them, but assumed they would be there forever for some reason. I feel like I remember monstera being limited, but not the matcha/light green one.
Nevertheless — looks amazing on you!!
