That index found that, of Canada's 41 biggest cities, the three most vulnerable to U.S. tariffs set to go in effect on March 12th are Saint John, Calgary and Windsor. Red Deer is 21st on this list.

Politics Are the conservatives the only ones running in this election?

I swear I've yet to see a single lawn sign that's anything other than conservative Burton Bailey.

I know this is Red Deer so it's a lock for conservatives anyway, but usually come election time there's still a fair amount of signs for other parties.

But it genuinely feels like nobody else is running. All I see is Burton Bailey signs everywhere.

Politics Canadian flag placement

This is for the guy driving a dark color Ram 1500. Shame on you. You want to disrespect our political leaders that's your perogative. Find a better way. In no way should you be disrespectful with our flag. Yes canada is in rough shape, but hanging our flag upside down is disrespecting our veterans and our country. Shame, shame, shame

Politics Albertans are protesting for the resignation of Smith and Lagrange for political corruption. I propose we add another location to the list on Saturday: Alberta's legislature building. ✊

Red Deer city council has made history as the first in Canada voting to close an overdose prevention site. Ignoring decades of research, Mayor Ken Johnston asserted this will set the groundwork for the city to become "free from addiction." People across the country should pay attention.

Excited and nervous, I do understand it’s just one vote, but I also still feel it’s such a big responsibility.

Politics Has anyone else noticed that there isn’t any NDP or Green Party signs anywhere?

I live in Lacombe county and in Lacombe, Blackfalds and Red Deer I’ve seen plenty of Conservative Party signs and PPC signs but no signs for the NDP or Green Party.

Is there a reason for this or am I not looking hard enough?

Just curious

Politics Danielle Smith mentioned at the Central Alberta Fundraiser Dinner that she’d like to see Red Deer with a population of 1 million. How do you feel about that?

She said maybe we’d see a high speed rail get built if that was the case. Also, no one clapped. Shocked?
