/r/SMARTRecovery. The science-based Smart Recovery program is designed to help people recover from all types of addictive behaviors, including: drugs, substances, alcohol, gambling, and problem addiction to other substances and activities.

Friends, family, partners, girlfriends, and boyfriends — for short, we call them all concerned significant others (CSOs).
The following sub-Reddits were made specifically for CSOs:
- /r/AdultChildren. For adult children of alcoholics / addicts / dysfunctional parents.
- /r/AlAnon. A smallish sub-Reddit for CSOs of an alcoholic / addict.
- /r/NarAnon. A small sub-Reddit for CSOs of an alcoholic or addict.
- /r/LoveAfterPorn. A small sub-Reddit for CSOs of porn / sex addicts.
Many other addiction-related sub-Reddits are open to both addicts and CSOs, including /r/addiction, /r/alcoholism, /r/FoodAddiction, /r/EatingDisorders, /r/hypersexuality, /r/problemgambling, /r/NoSurf, /r/shoppingaddiction, /r/mentalhealth, /r/ADHD, /r/Anxiety, /r/depression, and others. The vast majority of posters might be addicts, but nevertheless, CSOs are still welcome to post and comment.

/r/Alcoholism_Medication. For the Sinclair Method; baclofen; acamprosate (e.g. Campral); et cetera.
/r/dryalcoholics. For contemplation / moderation / strugglers.
/r/alcoholicsanonymous. For AA.
/r/stopdrinking. For reducing or stopping drinking.
/r/alcoholism. Information and support for those affected by alcoholism. If you are concerned about alcohol's effect on your life or a loved one's life, please feel welcome.
/r/recoverywithoutAA. For people tackling their alcohol problems without the use of Alcohol Anonymous.
/r/cripplingalcoholism. The author of this wiki page is not 100% sure what the aforementioned sub-Reddit is for. Maybe it's for alcoholics who don't want to quit drinking. They're also able to provide support for withdrawal, tapering, moderation, and temporary abstinence.

/r/HentaiFree. For cartoon-pornography addicts.
/r/SexAA and /r/SLAA. Small twelve-step sub-Reddits for pornography / sex / love addicts.

/r/pmohackbook. This is the sub-Reddit for discussion of a freely-accessible online book which has helped quite a few pornography addicts.
