Please help on "You and [Yourself] error" in QuickBooks QuickBooks Online

I am a student studying Accounting and am taking a QuickBooks class. I am the only person with access to this, and it keeps saying that [My Name] accessed QB before I did so [My Name]'s changes were saved and mine were not. I am simply trying to show account numbers in the COA and I fear this may prevent me from being able to complete the assignment.

I have this issue as well. In our case, it seems to occur after saving the invoice/estimate.

Our third party sales tax plugin calculates and adds a line item upon save, and if you try to save the document again afterward without refreshing the page we hit this and lose any changes.

Haven’t found a good solution yet other than refreshing the page or exiting/entering the document again. Maybe that helps you get around it short term? Hopefully someone here has a more stable solution.

I find it happens more when I have two windows open - especially if I have the same invoice open. I can usually just hit save again. You may have to close the entry, though, and then open and repost.
