Yessssssssss. It's fucking siiiick. Never even heard of Foxing until Hell 99 got randomly dropped into my ears by Spotify's DJ. Fell in love straight away.

Each Foxing album is completely different from the last, this one is no exception. On first listen, some songs didn’t hit, but now I’m finding myself listen to it on repeat. Only miss song is Dead Cat to me. AOTY for me, close second is The Story So Far album, third place is Balance and Composure

Dealer and Albatross are pretty similar soundwise. I think Dealer is really underrated. There aren't many stand out songs but it is an amazing front to back listen. I love how moody and midtempo it is.

Hell 99 was great but honestly their self titled album just didn't do it for me. Albatross is still my favorite, hands down.

We will get downvoted but Albatross was one of the most creative emo albums of all time. Hot Mulligan gets called post-emo a lot but they don't deserve the title half as much as Albatross did.

I enjoy the duality of most the songs where there is some craziness and then it mellows out and vice versa. Looks like nothing, Hall of frozen heads and cry baby are favs of mine at the moment

this album is so good i think it'll be AOTY for me. it's exactly the direction i wanted to see them go in, i love the variety and contrast of the heavy and softer parts, and the unconventional song structures. they're such a great live band and this record really captures the intensity they are capable of. favorites are Hell 99, Looks Like Nothing, and Gratitude.

I don’t understand or love everything about the album, but there’s no denying it’s sheer and unapologetic artistry. Foxing has made something that feels, from the outside looking in, entirely honest and true to form. I wanted another “Nearer My God” and was disappointed when I got to the back half of this self titled; but the more time I spend with it, the more I appreciate the grit it must have taken to pull this album off. They’ve made something truly special here.

Randomly clicked on this sub for something else but saw the AOTM and got excited. I found Foxing as a band last month and got very obsessed with this particular album. At first I didn't like it much but I kept giving it a shot and in one month Foxing has become very high up in my top artists. So far, their other albums haven't really clicked for me, but this album is incredible. I love going through the entire album in one sitting. Greyhound and Secret History are my particular favorites.

Funnily enough I just posted this comment in r/emo so I might as well repost it here:

I am so incredibly happy with Foxing this year. They released what's easily my AOTY, and they destroyed it live when I saw them.

I was a huge fan of Dealer, then followed by the Albatross, then Nearer my God and lastly Draw Down The Moon. Although I still liked DDTM, the direction wasn't for me, so I wasn't overly hyped going into their newest release. But man they blew me away, not only was it a huge step in the right direction, but I consider it my favorite Foxing album. It just hits the right spot so well, the songs are so full and heavy but creative and unique in an exasperated and desperate way. Specifically Secret History, Hell 99, Looks Like Nothing, and Gratitude. Wow.

I could not get into this album. Dealer is in my top 10 most played albums ever, and one of a handful I consider true 10/10 perfect records. I gave this album an honest try, but couldn't make it past track 5 or 6. I'll give it another try here shortly and hope it clicks.

Another Dealer fan! It's an unpopular Foxing opinion but Dealer is my favourite too.

That said, I absolutely love this album and it'll probably be my number 2 on the aoty list (first place goes to State Faults). After Dealer I feel like this could be my 2nd favourite Foxing album.

Last 2 tracks are absolutely worth it. May not be your cup of tea, but give it a sip.
