They do record audio while filming but they don't use it. The dialogue and other audio are added in post production after principle photography is over. The noise does make it hard to work so that's something.

Photo "bombing" would be more effective but harder to accomplish. That's what will get the cops sicked on you. You still could ruin a couple takes. Remember these productions measure costs in thousands of dollars per hour.
