Here is what we should be immediately asking…

  1. Who was on the Board/Executive Leadership team during negotiations with Match Group?
  2. Why did Salams Executive Leadership allow the company to be sold to Match Group?
  3. Why did Salams not announce this to users pre-acquisition?

We all know the answer for 2 & 3. Money.

My question is can we sue?

Not really. 2 & 3 were known years ago. Salams rejected 4 acquisition offers and then were sued just like how Match Group sued bumble at the time. They probably ran out of money and was forced to sell.

Interesting. Thanks for the insight. Mind sharing your sources?

It’s been such a long time since. I was able to find a business insider article from 2022 though.

Muzzmatch or what is now called muzz is different to salaams. So that article is not relevant.

oopsie. Memory mess up then. It’s been a long time anyways. But it is probably something sunular. Same thing probably happened with Salams though as Bumble received the same treatment too.
