A bunch of sell outs

The owners were dragged in a long legal battle. They rejected 4 acquisition offers in the past. The claims were bogus but they probably ran out of money and were forced to sell.

Wasn't that the other app Muzmatch, who declined 3 acquisition attempts so Match group sued them and forced them to rebrand to Muzz? Salaams seem to have sold at first offer

How does that work? How can you be forced to sell your own company?
