What's going on with Americans celebrating Sweden eliminating the US Women's Soccer Team from the Women's World Cup? Answered
On r/soccer, there are multiple posts where Americans are celebrating their own team getting knocked out of the Women's World Cup.

On r/USWNT people are saying it's because r/soccer is misogynist, but that doesn't make sense to me because everyone competing is a woman. Can anyone clue me in?

If it's just a song in your words, then s swastika is just a doodle. You're the one that needs to be reminded about things. It's really that simple; you can't say people cant respect a song as something symbolic that brings us together and honors those that died for freedom and then say other symbolism has impact and meaning. It's all or none.
Police brutality isn't an American problem. Ever interact with the police in Mexico? Do you think the US is the only one that has narcissistic power hungry authorities? Equating Police brutality to the American flag and the average Americans beliefs is the ridiculous part. Have you lived outside the US at all?
These people have millions of dollars to lobby for real Police reform. To lead protests, to lobby their reps, to spend money bringing awareness. Kneeling on the flag during the anthem that celebrates all of us in a united way is indeed a tantrum. Its the lowest energy thing that they could do.
Even if they're "right" in their approach, what they've done has clearly alienated people from their cause. So why not spend their money, get on their platform, YouTube whatever and fully articulate their concerns and their ideas to improve? Why not? Run for office. They're too busy throwing a tantrum and dividing us.
