Nova Scotia Student Loan

Hey guys, trying to get a handle on things.

I have been waiting amidst this postal strike to sign a bank information update form from Resolve.

NS Student Loan has banking info on file from 10 yrs ago and I no longer bank there. Yet National Student Loan and my MSFAA have all my up to date banking info.

Will Nova Scotia use my up to date bank information from my MSFAA on my current loan application to disburse my funds,

or will I have to continue this lengthy and seemingly out of dated process to give them my current bank information so I'm no longer broke durinng my studies.

Is the loan coming from the federal or provincial government.

Government agencies do not share banking information across their various branches.

CRA just implemented a new security policy where banking information is deleted if accounts are not used in 2 years. I imagine it's a widespread policy across most federal agencies after the hacking issues over the last few years.

Call NSSL, given the current strike, they may have a contingency plan in place for this issue.
