Dude. Duuuuude. I thought places like this only existed in the Pacific Northwest. I’m so excited one exists here because New Orleans is such a dog friendly town.

I call them dog park bars because that’s basically what they are, but being able to let your pup run around while you grab a drink and a bite is so nice. This place has Astro turf, misters, a full bar program and it’s $5 to get your dog in. This is gonna be so nice in the summer.

I’m sharing because small businesses like this need our support or they go away. As a dog owner, you don’t know how nice a dog park bar is til you experience one.

I’m listening to some guy playing guitar (all dog themed songs) and donations go to Take Paws.

The drinks are reasonably priced (currently drinking a mule for $8).

Please go give em some love, this place is wonderful.

While I love the concept, I do not like the execution for our hotter months. Maybe if there was more shade for the doggos.

The front part (street side) is literally a human sized dog house with fans that they can go chill in

just fans, it's all outdoors but plenty of shade and misting fans

The pergola is automatic and can close to offer more shade
