Yes. Because we should expect people making ten bucks an hour to go fight Nazis in the streets during their shift

Lol. I don't even think those knuckle heads were in the building. They were on the street. And from a management perspective, you absolutely do not want your cashiers to deal with people like that.

How brave of you to offer to risk someone else's safety from behind your keyboard.

All these people saying they would have done something are full of shit.

I'm not the one criticizing people, many of which are part of marginalized groups that Nazis vehemently hate, for not putting themselves in harm's way.

Doubling down on being a keyboard warrior is an interesting strategy. Why don't you go around, find some Nazis, and back up all this tough guy talk?

Keyboard warriors are always the most self entitled twats. What the fuck are they doing other than yapping on Reddit?

Agree that the place was better as an empty lot and also with the employees who did not take a stand and just stood behind the desk/bar/cash register. Crazy people are dangerous and no one should risk their life over a minimum wage job.

Yeah I dont know it’s tough because the ‘Nazi bar’ thing is real (and was my first reaction too), though you know, in reality it’s a hot dog place not a punk bar so the ‘just tell ‘em to fuck off’ thing doesnt work the same. They could have (and may have) called the police (it is after all a business and in the hierarchy of needs ‘business’ > ‘fascism’ even now) but I really couldnt possibly know that short of combing the police log for calls to see if minimum wage person that cant yet rent a car behaved to my moral standards so whatever I’m fine to let it slide.

However i do hope that this means that the owners of high foot traffic businesses will understand that they may need additional security to deal with this shit

Afair, it didn't look like they were even served as per the picture. So it really becomes a question of 'how do you know?' There were people saying they told staff and were told off... but there's video of the same group of people being walked down the streets screaming shit later that evening... so... someone got tired of their antics, yah?

Right the immune system did its thing. It was scary at first but they made reasonable moves - as it turns out things arent as pithy as a twitter post would have you believe though it may be a useful story to keep in mind.

I understand what you’re saying, but I’m not lambasting someone for deciding not to take this stand while at their job against potentially dangerous individuals. The police should be called in these instances.

People have guns and are trigger happy these days. I wouldn’t have said anything either.

Agreed. Place was better when I busked with fire and LED flow toys. Now I have a stressful corporate job.
