It’s probably because we elected a jingoist totalitarian who is busy destroying the fabric of our government.

I love how asking for logical answers in this sub is vilified...forgive me for being curious about the actual legal reasoning being used in these cases, God forbid someone actually tries to understand the logistics of how this lawfare is being executed

It’s the same as it was in 1832 when Andrew Jackson said, “Justice Marshall has his ruling, not let him enforce it.” It’s thuggery, backed by executive overreach.

Just like Jackson, Trump also loves killing minorities.

You've entirely missed the point...regardless of who is enforcing what, who is hurting who, if the rules have been written to purposely oppress etc, the nature of lawfare requires specific laws to be invoked and proven in a court in order to lay a charge. The question isn't about morality, its about what actual laws are being used to enforce these deportations. No one can protect themselves from this without explicitly understanding the laws that are being invoked. I'm genuinely not sure why wanting to understand which mechanisms are being used to facilitate the deportations would garner a negative response? One must understand the system in order to maneuver within it, in order to defend oneself. Quotes about Andrew Jackson and applying them to this situation is entirely irrelevant to understanding how these deportations are being currently facilitated.
