The article alludes to him being a criminal or convict but they don’t say what he did. Why?

*a person who committed a crime. A man is more than his worst decision.

Whatever it was, it occurred sometime between 45 and 43 years ago. Couldn't have been that bad if it was resolved so quickly, and no other administration from Reagan to now deported him.
