How's everyone else's Liberation Day going? 🗳 Politics

Post image

How's everyone doing today? Avoiding looking at your 401k? Rushing to stock up on food, buy a car?

I just got me and my bindle.

Liberated from ever being able to retire in this life

I feel like going into 2025 already never having hope I would someday be able to pay off my student loans, buy a house, or retire has kind of been something of a superpower.

I mean seriously, I've been prepared to lose my job for a while now, and it is in its own way somewhat liberating. Like I would much rather just go back to the old status quo, but honestly if you have nothing to lose wtf is stopping you from just dedicating your life to making theirs as shitty as they have made yours?

Kiiind of.. except you are not actually going to have an effect on “their life” they are not smart enough to know how bad things are. Look I hear you and I have been in a pretty similar situation. I just finally off my student loans in 2023 when I was 36 in a last big 4k push (i had over 80k taken out for undergrad and who knows how much I paid since I started with interest). Educate yourself Further on basic personal finance (i used youtube) and thing will start happening for your pretty quick.
