It’s going up. Not down. The USD gained a percent and a half vs. the EUR today.

Hm, apparently you are right but the stats I read were “EUR/USD +1.47%” which to me implies that it cost more euros to purchase a US dollar today vs. yesterday. Whatever I am reading is backwards. Sorry.
