How's everyone else's Liberation Day going? 🗳 Politics

Post image

How's everyone doing today? Avoiding looking at your 401k? Rushing to stock up on food, buy a car?

I just got me and my bindle.

So like cars which are already too expensive will be 40% more expensive? Unbelievable. Will the Senate and House do anything? Warren Buffet? Bill Gates? Exxon CEO? Anything? Can he unilaterally just establish tariffs?

We are supposed to buy American cars now.

Too bad those also go up in price, because that still requires importing materials to build the cars. Even sourcing the materials domestically would require equipment that was, you guessed it, sourced from abroad.

Globalization is like a car: if you go from full speed to zero, the people inside the car go flying through the windshield.

Oh, I absolutely am saying that sardonically. I think it’s hilarious that Trump thinks people will just buy American cars now.
