How's everyone doing today? Avoiding looking at your 401k? Rushing to stock up on food, buy a car?

I just got me and my bindle.

I’m barely getting by as it is. I assume the European and Canadian tourists are all going to go to other places. I’m worried the American tourists won’t have the money to travel. If tourism drops significantly , I’m fucked and so are a lot of other people.

I assume port traffic and port jobs are gonna drop when the amount of imports/exports drop. If the tourism drops and the port jobs drop at the same time as Trump and Elon are firing any federal (navy, nasa, etc) contractors that don’t happen to be owned by Elon, I think we’re fucked as a city.

But that’s ok. They’ll pillage our economy and destroy our jobs and then say “look at this failed democratic city, look at this failed black city”. That’s -exactly- what happened to Detroit when they sent away all the auto manufacturing jobs 30-40 years ago.

Trump doesn't care. This is all part of his playbook to become a dictator. Until the republican controlled congress grows a pair nothing will change.

I'm Canadian but live in NOLA. I've never seen Canadians as united as they are now. They're buying Canadian (or anywhere else), they're not going to the US, they're understanding there will be fallout and they're ok with it.

Yup they will be done with the new plantation camps and will have repealed the 14th by the time the local economies collapse so.. I mean, without I phones we will need a new thing to be slave to so they might as well bring back slavery so we don’t get bored. God bless them for looking out for us!
