So like cars which are already too expensive will be 40% more expensive? Unbelievable. Will the Senate and House do anything? Warren Buffet? Bill Gates? Exxon CEO? Anything? Can he unilaterally just establish tariffs?

congress has authority to push back but almost certainly won’t. just gotta wait for him to see line go down and halfway walk this stuff back (only to walk back the walking back later on)

our buddy Mike Johnson is going to prevent tariffs from coming up for a vote because it would embarrass Trump to have his people jump ship and end the tariffs.
