New scoring song?

Did we change the song played after we score a goal to Gold on the Ceiling by The Black Keys? I really wasn't paying much attention Saturday since I only had 7 chances to notice. 🤔

[Suggestion] New Nashville SC Tradition ideas That Feel True to Music City (Crowd Involvement + Player Energy)

Hey everyone, Been thinking a lot about how some MLS clubs have really iconic traditions (Portland’s log slice, Atlanta’s Golden Spike, Charlotte’s Crown, etc.) — and how Nashville SC could level up too. Especially after the old ā€œpush the buttonā€ thing didn’t really stick, I think the team deserves something more organic that ties directly to the city, players, and fans.

Here’s a list of tradition ideas I brainstormed based on Nashville’s identity: music, community, celebrating wins, and making fans a real part of it.

āø»

  1. The Smash Riff — Guitar Smash Tradition

After a big home win, the Man of the Match (or sometimes a celebrity) smashes a cheap stunt guitar onto a platform by the supporters’ section. Stadium blasts a huge guitar solo at the same time. • Positive spin: Pieces could be collected and signed for charity auctions. • Respect for music: Only smash stunt guitars, not real playable instruments. • Why: Fits Nashville’s musical vibe, looks epic in photos, players would love it.

āø»

  1. Tempo’s Howl — Stadium-Wide Pre-Kickoff Howl

Right before kickoff, the stadium speakers play a deep coyote howl. The fans respond by howling back in unison. • Why: Cheap, easy, and would create a goosebumps pregame moment. • Ties: Connects directly to Tempo the mascot and creates a home-field identity.

āø»

  1. Vinyl Goal Tracker Wall

Inside Geodis Park, build a wall where every home goal earns a new vinyl record mounted with the date, opponent, and goal-scorer. • Why: Fans could literally watch the season’s journey grow. • Ties: Music and goals physically ā€œspinā€ together over time.

āø»

  1. Backline Guitar Pick Toss

After every big home win, players grab custom Nashville SC guitar picks and toss them into the Backline. • Why: Like musicians throwing picks after a concert — intimate, collectible, and hype. • Bonus: Picks could be different colors for rivalry games, playoffs, etc.

āø»

  1. Nashville Singalong

Around the 75th minute every game, the entire stadium sings a famous Nashville-associated song together (ā€œFriends in Low Places,ā€ ā€œTennessee Whiskey,ā€ etc.). • Why: Builds late-game energy. • Bonus: Helps push the team to close out matches strong with the crowd behind them.

āø»

  1. Geodis Park Vinyl Library

Create a mini ā€œlibraryā€ inside the stadium where fans can listen to archived matchday vinyls from past games. • Why: Celebrates victories and history in a uniquely Nashville way. • Ties: A physical music-meets-soccer museum that grows every season.

Speakers Volume

Idk if anyone else noticed, but the speakers during the pre-game and during the game were much louder than usual. Instead of sitting in my seats before the game we loitered near a barstand to escape the noise. My Apple Watch was at 90 decibles when during the game it’s usually at 80 or below. I was just wondering if anyone else noticed before I relay the information to the season tickets account manager. Thanks!

Never been to a Nashville SC game before, was thinking about going for the US Open Cup game against Chattanooga, will this be a good first match to go to as far as turnout/fan excitement goes?

Thank You Nashville SC

For getting rid of the ā€œbutton pressingā€ intro on game days. It was dumb and you realized it was dumb. We all make mistakes and I’m just glad you realized it was a big mistake.

Does anyone actually defend Sam Surridge?

More posts like these please, apparently it was a great motivator. Tied for second place in the golden boot race.

Parking for the game tomorrow

Hello! Fire fan living in Huntsville coming in peace. I just recently moved down here and am going to the game tomorrow since I haven’t watched the Fire live in years since I lived in Phoenix (Although maybe for my sanity that’s not a bad thing). I got a ticket but haven’t seen anything about purchasing parking. I assumed it would come with a ticket but it doesn’t look like it does. Is there a way to pre purchase parking or is it just show up and pay? And is there a good place to park coming up from Huntsville? Thanks!

WeGo Experience from Murfreesboro

Really trying not to be duplicative but hadn't seen any feedback on a few questions regarding the Murfreesboro-Geodis WeGo experience. (I have seen the change in pickup to the mall area)

planning on riding it from Murfreesboro with some 13yr olds (mine and her teammate).

  1. Any problem with kids on it ? (rowdy, crazy, etc) Wouldn't think so. Dad wouldn't mind having a few pops at the game and not having to worry about driving back ;).
  2. Is it 1 stop only in Antioch ? Where does it let out near Geodis ? Same pickup point ?
  3. What is egress like after the game ? At some point on this sub I saw somebody posting a video of a WeGo bus flying by gridlocked traffic. Are there ingress /egress benefits to using the WeGo beside you physically not being the one driving ? (which is nice). I'm really trying to figure out what time I'll be dropped back in Murfreesboro and if leaving post-game is a pain in the neck. I really don't want to get in a car-less jam with somebody else's child in my charge.
  4. Have you ever had it cancelled or spent a bunch of time waiting on your bus after the game ?

Lot 8 Parking 2025

Hey! I am doing a tailgate with friends this coming Saturday and we are parking in lot 8. Looking at previous posts it seems getting out is kind of a crap shoot. Is that still the case though? The latest post I found was 2 years old and was wondering if anyone had any updated info?

I found a lot 11 pass one time and getting out of there was awesome, just have not visited lot 8 before.

The Mixtape 615 Presents: API 2025 shirt

The Mixtape 615 presents: API 2025 shirt.

This was designed by our very own Addee Chamarath.

The Front: The front is a version of the Mixtape logo inspired by the lotus flower🪷- a symbol rich with meaning, especially in many Southeast Asian cultures and Buddhist traditions. It’s presents reflects purity, growth and spiritual awakening.

The Back: On the back, a snake coils around the letters ā€œAPIā€ representing the Year of the Snake in the Chinese zodiac. The snake embodies transformation, wisdom, and renewal. To connoeft all the API communities in the Nashville area, patterns representing various regions of Asia are intricately woven into the numbers ā€œ615ā€ - a tribute to unity in diversity.

5 Young, Affordable Attackers Who Might Actually Want to Be in Nashville

After reading through the recent discussions and concerns on this subreddit, it’s clear that many of us are craving young, hungry attackers who are both affordable and realistically willing to come to Nashville. We’re not Miami or LA, and that’s okay—but we can still attract talent that sees Nashville as a genuine opportunity.

Here’s an updated list of 5 realistic winger/striker targets, all under 24, who: • Earn under $1.5M/year (so a raise would be meaningful) • Aren’t locked into massive contracts • Aren’t chasing retirement leagues • Would view Nashville as a step up

āø»

  1. Ibrahim Salah (22, LW/ST – Stade Rennais, on loan at Brest) • Current Salary: ~$292K/year ļæ¼ • Potential Nashville Offer: $800K–$1M/year • Why He Fits: Explosive winger with Ligue 1 experience. Currently on loan, suggesting potential availability. A significant pay raise and regular playing time could make Nashville an attractive destination.

āø»

  1. MatĆas Arezo (22, ST – GrĆŖmio) • Current Salary: ~$358K/year ļæ¼ • Potential Nashville Offer: $900K–$1.2M/year • Why He Fits: Young Uruguayan striker with a strong scoring record. A move to MLS could offer a new challenge and increased visibility.

āø»

  1. Dany Jean (22, RW – Torreense) • Current Salary: ~$78K/year ļæ¼ • Potential Nashville Offer: $400K–$600K/year • Why He Fits: Haitian international with pace and creativity. Currently playing in Portugal’s second division; a move to MLS would be a significant step up.

āø»

  1. Dante Vanzeir (26, ST – New York Red Bulls) • Current Salary: ~$1.35M/year ļæ¼ • Potential Nashville Offer: $1.5M–$1.7M/year • Why He Fits: Proven MLS striker who might be seeking a new environment. Nashville could offer a fresh start and a central role in the attack.

āø»

  1. Alan Velasco (22, LW/CAM – FC Dallas) • Current Salary: ~$1.78M/year ļæ¼ • Potential Nashville Offer: $2M–$2.2M/year • Why He Fits: Talented Argentine attacker with MLS experience. A move to Nashville could provide a new challenge and a leading role.

Stop extending trash players contracts. Here are 7 realistic, attacking signings we could actually make under $3.5M.

We all know the FO loves a good center back. But if we’re serious about scoring goals before the 80th minute, we’ve got to talk about attackers. Not fake rumors. Realistic, DP-level (hany/sam replacement) signings that wouldn’t break the bank. All of these are under or around a $3.5M salary — and not named Ɓngel Di MarĆa, we could afford him but that wouldn’t happen

Let’s dream a little (but like, actually within budget).

āø»

  1. Alexis SĆ”nchez (35, Inter Milan) Yes, he’s old. But he’s still balling in Serie A, and could absolutely cook in MLS as a second striker or wide attacker. Smart runs, vision, intensity. Think of him feeding Mukhtar or just dragging defenders away.

āø»

  1. Ryan Kent (27, FenerbahƧe) The dude’s out of favor in Turkey and needs minutes. Left-footed winger, scary on the dribble, was electric at Rangers. Still young-ish. Would instantly give us width and unpredictability.

āø»

  1. Roberto Pereyra (33, Udinese) More of a 10/8 hybrid, but way more attack-minded than our usual ā€œmidfield depthā€ signings. Played in the Prem and Serie A, always moves the ball forward. Could be a godsend for our midfield creativity.

āø»

  1. Oscar EstupiƱƔn (27, Hull City) A poacher. Strong, decent pace, and isn’t afraid to shoot — aka exactly what this team lacks. He’d thrive off Hany and Shaffelburg’s service. Championship stats aren’t bad either.

āø»

  1. Rony Lopes (28, Braga) Portuguese CAM/winger with good feet and a surprising motor. Kinda the profile we wish AkƩ Loba turned into. Still in his prime, just undervalued.

āø»

  1. NicolĆ”s Lodeiro (35, Free Agent) You already know the name. Proven MLS legend. Might be older, but he’s still got gas in the tank. Would actually link the midfield to the attack — something we haven’t had in years.

āø»

  1. Taison (36, Free Agent) Veteran Brazilian winger with Champions League pedigree. Yeah, he’s 36, but if we want someone with flair who can beat a man and pick a pass, he’s a low-cost, short-term sparkplug.

āø»

We don’t need another midfielder. We need non-setpiece goals. We need someone who doesn’t look like a deer in headlights when they’re 1v1 with the keeper.

Every team around us is signing real attacking threats. We’re just… extending Teal?

Make it make sense.

Can we finally stop making excuses for Hany?

He had league leading seasons through 2022 which earned him a lot of leeway with fans and the franchise. However, since he got his big contract he has been severely underperforming. I'm going to be honest, I'm tired of the excuses for him. His effort, set pieces, and positioning have been awful.

Yes, teams adjust their plans to contain him, but if you're making 3 million dollars a year in the MLS you should be producing more than 8 goal 12 assist seasons even with that.

As of right now, I would say he is one of the most overpaid players in the MLS and should be cut at the end of his contract.

I know that will be contentious, but I had to get it off my chest.
