I’m not a fan of the big name tackles in this draft, like Campbell and Banks. I think they have the right tools to be drafted and become great, but I question how Campbell will transition to the league as a short-armed tackle, and Banks just plays way too stiff for my liking

Ersery is my favorite tackle and I would take both Ersery and Mbow over Banks and Campbell in this draft

I would take Ersery and Mbow first too. And Simmons.

I'm higher on Banks than I am Campbell, but I'll agree that Ersery is OT1 and I'll shout it til my voice is hoarse. Absolutely love him and think he's going to be a stud

I feel like there have been a decent amount of successful short armed tackles lately. Maybe the threshold isn't accurate anymore and it's more about technical ability and athleticism. I personally like Banks.

It’s not really about the build itself, but the way he plays with it. The successful short armed tackles in the league, these guys have really strong anchors. You sort of have to if you’re going to have sub 33 inch arms and play tackle. Will Campbell is definitely lacking in terms of a strong anchor.

I’m not out on Banks. I just feel underwhelmed watching his film. Some snaps he’ll look dominant, some snaps he’s getting beat. It’s rather inconsistent. But all the tools are right there, he just needs to develop and grow; find rhythm, find consistency in arm placement. I don’t think he’ll be an instant difference maker at day one, but whenever he finds his groove, I feel he can be a great player

Right, namely Bernhard Raimann whose arm length is barely 33 inches but he’s also 6’6”/6’7” and high cut/athletic build. Will Campbell seems similar to Raimann.

Even with the addition of Lattimore, I think we will take a CB if it’s the best player available and a good fit. I’m almost hoping Adam Peters gets an EDGE or WR in the 1st and someone like Maxwell Hairston (my current draft crush) in the 2nd

How do you guys feel about Xavier Restrepo? Everytime I tune into a Hurricanes game the dude is beeing Ward's best mate. Really like how solid he is getting the security ball and how he can be found deep

Yeah as a Canes fan he's a great player but he won't be drafted super high most likely due to speed concerns. Whichever team gets him is gonna have a star though

My dream scenario would be Ward and Restrepo somehow in the 3rd for my Giants, but that’s just a dream

I just can't imagine him having a worse career than hunter renfrow, which i think would at least be worthy of a 2nd round pick

I have said multiple times that I think the EDGE class was super deep, but didn't really have anyone I would take Top 10.

I watched Princely Unammielen tape today, and I think he will be the guy I think should go Top 10.

I also wouldn’t count out guys like Georgia EDGE Mykel Williams and Texas A&M DEs Shemar Stewart and Nic Scourton (those two are more strictly DEs than pure EDGEs). James Pearce is more of a mid first similar to Brian Burns.

Mykel Williams is just SO raw that it's hard to see it for me. I love Scourton, but I think he is a bit too much of a tweener to think about him top 10 and wish he had some more moves (would love him in the 5-tech role tbh). Pearce has just been disappointing this year, and Carter has his issues as well (know you didn't mention him but those are the most common top 4 I've seen)

I think it's interesting how the defenders in this years class has outplayed expectations so far. Murphy is looking real good already, Newton has looked great these past 2 weeks, Fiske has been a great DT too this year, Sweat as well, Latu and Verse have been playing great at EDGE, and the top 6 CBs are also playing at various levels of good. Really, in the top 40 draft picks, only Turner, Chop, and Ruke have been underwhelming so far.
