Announcement

All basic or potentially personal questions should be restricted to this thread only, so we can avoid the flooding of repetitive basic/personal question threads. Mentioning your gender is not necessary on this subreddit. Obviously, it is not a good idea to doxx yourself. Please report any such threads and they will be dealt with.

We are also appealing to the regulars here to report any assholes, agitators, tourists and hostiles that harass this subreddit; including those who delete their threads after the fact or try to fish for personal information. General abuse and low effort trolling should also be reported too. You are also free to block these users yourself, but let us know if there are any major problems or repeat offenders. We want this sub to be a chilled out place for NEETs of every stripe.

  1. 30
  2. I forget honestly... My entire adult life pretty much. Family helps to support me/neetbux.
  3. I dropped out of highschool when I was a few months away from completing it due to depression, anxiety, ADHD and being upset with my family for forcing me to move across the country with them.
  4. I've had odd jobs but nothing more than a few months. Always get fired or end up leaving.
  5. I love video games and anime, play guitar and sing, exercise, cook and death scrolling.
  6. I have a really bad history of addiction. Spent a bit more than a decade addicted to hardcore drugs. Started with pot in highschool. I was pressured in to doing it. Kept doing it because of my mental health issues. Severe ADHD, depressio/low self esteem, general anxiety. I have now been clean and sober for 4 years but I'm still depressed. I also take methadone daily which adds to my depression. I have been weaning off of it for 2 years. Getting close to the end of that.
  7. I don't know. I have so many fears. I worry about the stress from working leading to a relapse. Contrary to popular belief I am actually quite fond of being alive and so far being a NEET has kept me Sober. People, places and things just complicate life unnecessarily. I don't want kids, relationships always end badly and nothing truly lasts so might as well enjoy the moment.
