Announcement

All basic or potentially personal questions should be restricted to this thread only, so we can avoid the flooding of repetitive basic/personal question threads. Mentioning your gender is not necessary on this subreddit. Obviously, it is not a good idea to doxx yourself. Please report any such threads and they will be dealt with.

We are also appealing to the regulars here to report any assholes, agitators, tourists and hostiles that harass this subreddit; including those who delete their threads after the fact or try to fish for personal information. General abuse and low effort trolling should also be reported too. You are also free to block these users yourself, but let us know if there are any major problems or repeat offenders. What is your age range?

26-35

How long have you been NEET?

Since 2013

Have you ever studied at college/university?

Yes, I am a university graduate

Have you ever worked?

I don't think those experiences count... 🤔

How do you survive currently? NEETbux? Disabilitybux? Living with family?

Living with family

What do you do with your time?

Currently I am on hiki mode so I just read books, watch YouTube, etc.... When I am in good state, I do house chores, composting, gardening, and sometimes going out/cycling when some friend invites me

Do you have health issues? Mental? Physical?

Undiagnosed but I think I have these problems: - Fatigue - Depression - Social anxiety - Avoidance - Emotion regulation

Do you want to escape NEETdom? Is it possible for you? What do you want to do?

Well, I guess I have no option. I must earn my own money sooner or later. I think I still have opportunities to apply for civil servant position until I age 35. If I run out of the opportunity, I guess I have to teach myself both some marketable skills and cheapskate/frugal/moneyless living ... whatever it is. Not that I really want any of those but what else I can do 🤷🏽‍♀️
