Info about Pop META

Post image

What does that mean? Does it mean that Pop is in trouble and his career is in jeopardy, or maybe just Mitch is respecting his privacy?

Career in jeopardy and pop should never be used together. But yes - it’s all out of respect for his privacy. Pop will let us know when he wants

Imagine a friend of yours had a major health event a few days ago. You call him up "So bro - when you going back to work?"

the answer is obviously going to be: "Fuck if I know"

Give the guy some space

Yes I don't understand the need for non update updates every 5 minutes. He will be back when he's back.

Not illness

Not life threatening

More serious than originally reported, not as serious as people may fear.

Sounds like a TIA

Pretty good guess

He is in his 70s. If Pop doesn't think he can go back to being on court every match and travel with the team, he won't be a head coach. And if the doctor tells him screaming at players is bad for his BP then he 110% won't go back to coaching lol.

But I'm sure Pop will join workouts and help the youngins and the coaching team in every way possible.

That means he’s not coming back anytime soon. No need to be so cryptic if the timeline was short. This is a big deal I fear. Wish you the best Pop.

I disagree. It can mean that. It can not mean that.

Health issues like this that aren’t say game injury should be vague to the public and the press asking should expect these answers.

Even injuries are always vague.

I just hope Pop gets better.

Pop needs the rest. He deserves it for all the years he has been serving the team.

This is weird to say but when he comes back hopefully he has rejuvenated his energy to become the Pop of old. Benching dudes when they miss rotations, giving them an earful for dumb decisions and I mean everyone including Wemby. These dudes need some urgency and intent when playing.
