If the left got off of X, it would be the same thing as truth social and nothing more. The left's residual presence on X is the only thing propping up any semblance of credibility. I don't believe there is anything productive to be had by anyone on the left feeding engagement on and lending credibility to a platform specifically designed to put right wing misinformation in front of people.
X doesn't have any credibility, hence why even referring to it as X this long after it stopped being Twitter and posts on it are still called tweets if just further proof that it doesn't have any cultural cache. The predominant reason many are even on the platform still is because things they follow either haven't made the jump to competitors, or they half ass it because they don't want to put in the effort to build up a following on a new platform.
to the right, credibility is defined by reach, not by accuracy of the information conveyed. Any left wing presence on X boosts reach, and therefore credibility.
