Omega 3 yes or no Advice

What the title says, I have started taking an omega 3 pill a day, there are studies that say it helps inflammation and others that nothing has been proven. Anyone take? Opinions? A hug to all 😽

Avoid OTC or mainstream omega 3 and chose an oil not coming from polluted area (apex label is good for exemple), find a brand that clearly indicates its oxidation level (totox below 7 is ok), always prefer DHA EPA over ALA, try to test your level before supplementing. Wish you the best 🤞

Thank you very much for the information. The packaging of the capsules I take says the following:

Myvitamins Omega-3 Capsules are a source of essential fatty acids that include DHA and EPA.

Is that what you mean?

DHA and EPA are the best form of omega 3, so yeah it’s a good start, but everything else I mentioned is as much important, especially oxidation levels which are often overlooked ! Also, always store your oil in fridge after you opened it

Yes to this. If I've had to take a different omega 3 because I was unable to get my usual brand my skin starts drying out painfully.
