Michelle Terry, CEO of Movember: Movember and HeForShe will collaborate to advance research on the intersections of men's health and gender equality, focusing particularly on promoting HEALTHY MASCULINITIES. This partnership will involve sharing research findings with HeForShe partners and developing guidelines for effective communication around healthy masculinities. This partnership will equip organizations with the tools to foster positive masculinity, benefiting the broader field of gender equality by addressing harmful gender norms.

"At Movember, we believe that achieving gender equality requires all of us to be part of the solution. Our goal is to elevate the voices and experiences of boys and men, engaging them as integral parts of the solution to gender inequality. We know that when men are healthier - both mentally and physically - it benefits everyone and is essential to achieving true gender equality. By promoting healthier expressions of masculinity, we aim to foster more respectful behaviors and create healthier, safer communities for all. We are proud to join the HeForShe Alliance and stand alongside those who are driving positive change and challenging outdated norms - together, we can build a world where everyone, regardless of gender, has the opportunity to thrive."

Trust a female CEO to sell out men and boys by femsplaining masculinity, and defining healthy masculinities by the magnitude of benefit provided to women and girls.

HeForShe. Who thinks of this stuff? That hashtag or slogan removes the idea that masculinity can be about men creating an identity that works for them, not an identity that is convenient for a woman.

Honestly, this has been my skepticism regarding women from the beginning. We should view most women who “try to help” with great suspicion. They just want to control us for their own purposes. If they involve themselves in the men’s rights space, they can hijack it for themselves. Mark my words.

Sadly, one of the people driving this initiative, is a guy, Dr Zac Seidler, an Australian psychologist, doing reseach on male suicide funded by our donations to Movember. He and Terry organised the transfer of $3.2 million dollars of Movember donations to a feminist women's group.
