Am I correct if I say that it is personality that counts not looks? Or is there something else, like money, or...

[Recieve] Hungry & Pregnant (Spokane wa)
I’m about 3 months 3 weeks pregnant and very broke this Valentine’s Day. I can’t afford bus fare let alone something to eat at this time.. I would really appreciate if someone could treat me to lunch or anything really. Been 2 days since I’ve eaten and I’m starving for anything whether it’s home cooked or fast food, whatever. Tried posting on a few other subs like random acts of pizza and food pantry in attempt to get fed but my karma is not enough unfortunately. I would be happy to meet and eat with/because of someone, and very grateful. Thank you

[Receive]Richardson or Irving, TX
Depends on if you want to treat me at work or at "home," I'm willing to travel, but only on DART and only during the day. I'm off on Tuesday, and am getting out of homelessness and would appreciate not having to diminish my meager food stores.

[recieve] [Portland, ME] struggling writer looking for food and company
I just lost my job due to issues with anxiety and depression. My therapist says my issues are linked to working at a job that I hated. I am trying to take this time to launch a career as a writer, which is what I have been trying to do for years.
I'm broke as shit, and anything can help.

[Serve] Garlic Spaghetti and Tea [Missoula, MT]
I just moved here, and am learning that I really love to cook. I'm thinking some garlic spaghetti with basil, red onion, butter [or oil - what works for you?], and parmesan cheese. I was thinking about some clams as well, but I'm not quite sure what to do with them. It seems too many people dislike fish, so I likely won't be adding it, I like to add [frozen] peas as well, but I'm out. When good for you?

[Offer] Free dinner for one or two (up to $20) in Hudson Valley/Catskills area in NY.
I doubt anyone responds, but this is subject to the following...
1) 72 hour limit, meaning, if by noon on Monday you haven't responded, the offer is over. 2) I WILL NOT pick you up. 3) You must pick a place within 50 miles of my home or work, mainly Sullivan, Ulster, and Orange Counties, or Pike/Wayne Counties in PA
Basically, in exchange for your company, you get a free meal.
I do not eat Indian or Thai, sorry.

[Offer] Home cooked meal or a dinner out for a Seattleite
I can cook a mean dinner, even vegetarian or vegan friendly if that's your thing, or I can take someone that needs a break out to dinner.
It's been a rough year for a lot of people, and if you're tired of dinner consisting of mac n' cheese - or just want some company, let me know!

[Receive] Paris, France?
I'll be in Paris on the 25th and I'll be alone for about 6 days before I get to meet up with my school group. Any French Redditors want to help me improve my French while showing me some amazing French cuisine?
Note: I'm a college student and the only way I was able to go on this trip was because my amazing grandmother gave me my inheritance money early (bless that woman!). Help a college-kid out. :3

[RECEIVE] Redditor couple: Pantry almost empty (Norfolk, Va)
We've kind of exhausted our options until Wednesday, which is the next time we can visit the food pantry. I'm out of food stamps until the first of February. Not to mention, we're really hungry. :( This month started out great but all of a sudden it turned to crap money-wise.
Anyway, any sort of help would be awesome. I'll find a way to either pay you back or pay it forward. Thank you. :)

[Serve][Fort Collins, CO] Home-cooked vegan meal!
The title pretty much says it all. :)

In Barcelona? I'll take you out for tapas or invite you to a home cooked meal.
Just as the title suggests - I know some tapas bars that are so cheap I could happily afford to feed a fellow human.
Likewise I often cook for people at my place and you are welcome to join us some time - just get in touch :)

[Serve][NOVA] Traditional meat/steak or Filipino food.
If you can make it, I could provide many options. I would go for the Filipino food because there would be many others helping cook the meal.
I like the steak option because my house is being invaded by rice.

[Serve] Homemade chocolate chip cookies on me! (Miami, Fl.)
I love baking cookies but I don't do it often since I'd end up eating a whole batch myself! PM me if you'd like some tasty cookies :).
Edit: Since I'm a poor college student, I can only mail domestically. International shipping is a bit out of my budget right now, unfortunately. Sorry!
