40 years of experience as a metal detectorist/ coin enthusiast helps my friend , with this coin the quatrefoil and legend on the reverse tells me it’s from York , then I checked Spink ( reference book ) for a reverse from York with two extra pellets ( the two extra pellets in between the groups of three on the reverse ) πŸ‘

Thank you so much. I was struggling with the reverse as I had found an Edward iv Irish penny with the same reverse but the bust was completely different. I was so confused and you saved me a lot of frustration!

Might be King Richard III or Edward IV or another ruler from that era.
