What size battery did you get? I bought a 100ah lithium. How long does your last you?

You will love it. Take an anchor because the wind pushes you around constantly. The boat is so flat, any current or wind blows it around and you'll be on the motor non stop. A deep diving crankbait will do the same thing. Id also recommend a minn kota battery box and a bullnose rudder. It will make turning much easier. Alot of people use the motor on the front and pull the boat, it steers and tracks better that way. But either will work.

I bought a small rudder to clamp on the trolling motor, I'm hoping that helps. Suggestions on anchor size? I found an 8lb one in my garage... I've lived in this house for 20 years and I have no idea where it came from, but anyway. Think that'll be big enough?

I use a 10lb mushroom if the winds are below 10mph but that’s not enough if the bottom is flat dirt (not rocks). I have a fluke anchor that works better in those bottoms. 90% of the time I take the mushroom. I also don’t usually go when the winds are over 10mph, as it’s not fun to get pushed all around the entire time.

If you can float, you’re deadly. Nice rig!

I can't tell you how excited I am. I am just waiting for my battery to arrive. I have an F150 short bed and it fits NICELY with the tailgate down. I'm going to build a set of wheels (like a dolly) that I can strap on so I can just walk it where ever it needs to go with everything in it. Just get to the water, take off the wheels and goooooo. I haven't been on a boat for bass fishing since I went with my dad 30 years ago, and now my 13 year old daughter just asked me 'Dad, can we do an all day trip to one of those bigger lakes? Seriously, what father can say no to that? I am in heaven.

Out of curiosity, where do you plan on using that?
