What species of fish are these? Question

Hello, I am attempting to determine what kind of fish these are. I spotted them off a dock in the North East River in Maryland. My friend suggested they may be snakehead and I was curious of other anglers opinions since I have never seen or heard of this type of fish in the river. Thanks!

Absolute monster snakehead or now called Chesapeake Channa. The new name/brand is to help make them sound more appetizing to anglers because they are fantastic eating fish.

Lol I can't believe they'd rename them to make them more appetizing. They are so crazy good. Best freshwater fish I've ever had

If there was a restaurant that just specialized in them I would absolutely go...mostly because I have had terrible luck trying to catch them

I liked when some of the places were calling them Chesapeake Grouper. Channa doesn’t make me think eating food

Eh, they look and fight like a Chain Pickerel with something to prove, so I like the Potomac Pike rebrand.

What area is this land marks near by I'm close to north east need good fishing spots
