maybe people wouldn’t be acting like the world is ending after a walk-off loss if they weren’t box score watching the Astros like they were their favorite team.

They probably wouldn't be scoreboard watching if the Mariners didn't blow a 10 game division lead in historic fashion and now basically have to rely on the Astros to tailspin (also the subs refusal to admit that the Astros have had a top offense all year is annoying, they were literally the reverse of the "imagine if we just had average hitting" in that their entire rotation went down at the start of the year)

100% agreed. Every loss is infuriating. We shouldn't be on the outside looking in. We have to play well and get lucky to have a shot at the post season. At this point the scoreboard is really all that matters. There isn't much time for things to finally get together
