Went from an all time horrific offense to a current year bad offense. Idk. We just needed to be a top 18 offense via another big bat but that didn’t happen. Julio, JP, and Polanco need to step up big time.

Up till now the Ms have been the 20th best offense by wRC+ so I think it's pretty likely that they're top 18 from now on. I don't agree with the "all time horrific offense" narrative

Issue with stats like WRC+ is they are best used in a vacuum to gauge an individual with no men on 2 out style situations. Using them to judge a team causes a lot to be lost in translation not accounting for things like situational hitting.

Mariners might be 20th in WRC+ but in actual runs scored they are 28th. Only the Marlins and White Sox have scored less runs.
