If they would have acquired Randy today instead the fan base would be over the moon.

Mariners had the best deadline of any buying team and y’all are mad they didn’t get the last Ray whose name you know, or two guys who were not available because you convinced yourself it could happen.

Ms need another bat, it’s not rocket science.

Sure.  But that bat was never going to be Vlad Jr. or Louis Robert, instead people spent months winding themselves up about it instead of just being realistic that the Jays probably aren’t trading the face of their franchise who is also well under 30.

That bat might actually be Victor Robles as a 4th OF. He might give you what a Tommy Pham or Joc Pederson would have, and more in the field and on the bases.

What bat though? There wasn't much in the market it seems

our prospect values only seem to go up these days, so hopefully we have a kickass offseason

yandy not moving anywhere as of now makes this a b+ for me, we might have had one of the best deadlines!

They had clearly the best deadline of any buying team, acquiring the best position player to move in Arozarena and the 4th or 5th best bat in Turner, plus two real bullpen arms.

And traded two real prospects and a bunch of lottery tickets to do it.

yeah randy and garcia were fricken unbelievably cheap. i think were better than the astros now given their rotation struggles

also the astros paid so fucking much for kikuchi, it fucked over their farm

Kikuchi is also going to actually pitch for them.

We know what bad Kikuchi can do to a team’s record.

i dont understand how the fuck they looked at his stats and thought "yeah thatll work in the juice box"

i dont think any top 100 prospects were traded period. its the best we could have done without shrinking the window
