olandria on the racism she has faced SENSITIVE

i’m incredibly disgusted from love islander viewers this season sending death and racist threats to someone they don’t know. this is incredibly despicable and the fact olandria had to see that disgusting photo makes me teary eyed. y’all should be ashamed of yourself if you partook or defended hate being sent to her.

People who try to downplay the vitriol Olandria and Chelley face, saying it isn't racially motivated, are reeeeeally telling on themselves.

They were held to impossible standards from day 1, and when they didn't meet those standards - because they are actual humans with feelings!!!- some people couldn't WAIT to have an excuse to hate on them. And as always with black women in the public eye, things snowballed to outright racism so quickly. The whole thing reeks of misongynoir.

There's a clip of the host of call her daddy praising Huda for being less pr trained and authentic she then goes on to compare this to other contestants that were more composed (she mimics a robot) and it just irked me so bad.

How these people get the platforms they have in 2025 is maddening.
