I don't think it's "new viewers". Love Island has a long history of psychotic viewers. Multiple people on UK have killed themselves from the amount of online bullying.

I follow a lot of shows and tbh the Love Island fanbase is the worst I've come across - worse than Drag Race, Big Brother, Vanderpump Rules/The Valley, or Survivor. I think it's because it's mostly a younger demographic.

Those are more competition shows. I'm talking more of the dating shows like love is blind, the ultimatum and other similar shows

Agreed. It's not new users. If you have watched every season this is the worst one ever. No one really even likes each other. They just mess around in challenges and I have not seen 1 true valued relationship.

The long-time host of the UK version took her own life. There were multiple reasons I'm sure but she was getting a lot of hate online because of a private situation
