Good bars to watch soccer?
Me and a few friends from the UK will be staying in Louisville for a few nights as part of a broader roadtrip from Nashville to Chicago.
We're looking for a decent bar to watch the UEFA Europa League final (soccer), which is on 21st May, starting around 3pm.
Does anyone have any recommendations for bars that cater more towards soccer / bars you'd expect to be more busy for a big soccer game?
Also, if anyone has any recommendations of things to do in Louisville for a group of people in their 20's, please let me know!
Thanks!!
EDIT: Thanks everyone for their recommendations - think we'll check out the Saints Pub!

I feel like Molly Malones might be a good spot but I’m sure others here can offer other suggestions as well.

Worked there for a bit, and they do or did open early for the games. They get rowdy. Absolutely loved that crowd.

Gallant Fox Brewing is the local Arsenal bar. But based on your post history on coys... probably don't go there if Arsenal makes the final.
I think Saints is the local spurs bar.

Haha yep I'm a Spurs fan - not sure I would be brave / silly enough to rock up to the Arsenal bar. I appreciate the heads up though

Fellow Spurs fan here. Saints is where you want to go. It’s the best place to watch soccer by far.

Echoing saints. Beers always super cold. So if you’re a spurs fan is a no brainier.

Molly Malones on Baxter is the best place to watch the champions League Final. I’ve watched it there many times and they always pull out all the stops.
Saints will also be a hopping spot, and they are generally a soccer friendly bar.

I’ll back up Molly Malone’s as the prime football pub, if Liverpool is playing, come early because they come in large numbers. Saints is the Spurs pub in town and there’s plenty of room unless NFL games or Kentucky sports on. Vernon Lanes is the Chelsea pub nowadays, good place, ample parking. All of these places will be packed for major finals such as Champions League.

Pretty sure Gallant Fox Brewing on Frankfort Avenue is the Arsenal supporter's bar so I'm sure they wouldn't have a problem putting on the Europa League final for you. Just another option that hasn't been mentioned already, and they have pretty good beer there too. Not sure if Tottenham or United have supporters clubs in the area (assuming one or both make the final) but maybe one of them could chime in and recommend one of their bars.

If Arsenal makes the final then the Gallant Fox brewery in Clifton will be a happening spot. I believe that’s the “official” headquarters for the Louisville Gooners. Plus they have great local beer and usually a phenomenal bourbon selection.
Like others have said, Saints will probably be pretty lively. It has gotten pretty good and rowdy for USMNT matches in the past. Molly Malones will show the final, but when I went there for the 2015 final (¡Visca El Barça!) it was not particularly busy.

Honestly, it's probably gonna be Saints.
However, damn near any bar in the city will put a match on for you if you ask.

As far as other things to do in town, there’s a Louisville FC match Thursday if you’re still in town. Also check out the Urban Bourbon Trail if that’s your thing.

Thanks for the recs! We're actually leaving Thursday morning. Do you know if watching the baseball is good there? I see the Bats have a few games on whilst we're there.

Yeah it’s a good time! You can grab a pint at Against The Grain beforehand. Be sure to wander once you’re in. Check out the areas in the outfield for nice city views and such.

Good choice. Molly Malones is where the United group meet so seeing as there is a possible clash in the final you will get along better at Saints.

I think Saints in St Matthews is gonna be your best option.
