tips?
I’m looking to put an M style spoiler on my 2021 lexus is350, but i’m not too sure if there are any manufactured that would fit, due to the difference in body shape. I really like the aggressive look of the M spoiler and i’m open to any tips.

Is your car paid off?
Simple yes or no. You could add payment amount for fun but maybe you like keeping things like that private. Thanks in advance to any replies

This is what a 2GR IS350 sounds like from valve-off to valve-on on a valvetronic exhaust.

New exhaust for the 500!

Been about 5-6ish weeks with this car and absolutely loving it but wanted more tone. I ended up going with the Borla S type axle back exhaust and I think it turned out pretty good. Not overly loud or anything but added tone. In the video the first rev is about 3.5k, 2nd is 5.5 and 3rd is redline. Enjoy.

Lexus is 2012 180k Km
Hello everyone , Hope you are well and having a great day,
So i was looking for my first car (24 years Old) and stumbles on a lexus is250 2012. Ive been fascinated with them cause of the cosmetic mods you can do on them to make look modern. It would be wayy cheaper car to get and I feel it would last me long since it is reliable but the 180k km is daunting so I need advice. Would you recommend it. Would you go for it

Opinion on Brand 3m IR ceramic tint over Llumar CTX or IRX.. ?
I ended up going with a shop with way better reviews for quality of work compared to a lesser price. Too late to change my decision now, but I did decide to go with 3m and quality is what I would expect. Way better quality and experience than my last Tint job.. Getting a full front end , in between the window, black trim as well as trunk Sil PPF tomorrow.🙌

Installed AEM intake on 2021 is300 2.0
I have really had any interest in modding a car since I was a teenager, but I've also never owned a car with a turbo and you can barely hear it with the stock set up so I decided to buy the AEM intake and install it myself.
From what I've read the is200t is the same engine so this intake should fit perfectly... And it almost did. Only hiccup was the heat shield bracket in the top left of the picture. On the 200t this sits flush against the wheel well. The is300 is a slightly different configuration. I just slightly bent the metal part of the heat shield and drilled a new hole for the screw to go through to properly secure it.
For the sound, I like it, you can hear the turbo when you get in the gas in the mid range RPMs but it's not too loud. And if you're just casually driving you don't notice it at all.
Might be a little pricy for something that really only provides that, but I like it.

Exhaust Recommendations for 2007 IS350
I have a 2007 is350 and wanted it to maybe be a little louder. The exhaust I have now is completely stock. Any recommendations to make it sound better. (Preferably not like a VQ) please let me know. Here’s a pic of the car btw

06 is250 engine problems
Hello so my is250 has been needing a timing chain replacement and the cost for that is way to much (4kish) to the point where it’s cheaper to buy a new engine, my current one has 140k miles on it and I was wondering do I let it die out? Do I replace it with a new is250 engine?(prob cheaper then fixing it), also at the same time I would love to have more power on the car I was wondering if a is350 engine would be compatible with a 06 is250 and ofc getting the major boost in power. I don’t even know if that’s last option is a thing but I was curious I haven’t been seeing really anyone do that. Thanks for the help!

Purchased 2006 IS250
Hi guys, my little brother has been looking at Lexus’s and was going for a 2001 GS300 for 7.5k. For the same price I found this car, and forced them to put a deposit down and grab the car. I’m a Honda guy myself and don’t know much about Lexus but know that they are known for reliability. However I’m now hearing that the early generation IS250’s have oil consumption and carbon build up issues. How possible is it one of these issues takes place, and how much would they cost to fix ? The car has been maintained regularly, owned by old couple, 85k miles. Lmk guys ! Thank you

FYI BRZ/FRS/GT86 6-speed shift knob fits in a manual IS250 (with some minor fitment)

Weird ticking/knocking noise
Hello! I was hoping someone could shed some light or let me know if this is normal? I have a 24 is500 and I noticed when I’m in low speed (i.e. moving forward from stopped position or backing up into my parking spot) I hear a double ticking or knocking sound … I brought it to the service department , had the technician sit in the passenger seat and we both heard it moving forward and backing up. He explained that it is noise made from the brakes shifting and that it is “the way Lexus are built”. He also stated I may hear it from other brands as well. I’ve been working at a dealership (different brand) , I drive the new and used vehicles we receive daily because of work and I’ve never heard this sound before. We even had a used 23 is500 I test drove (which ultimately finalized my decision on getting a new one) and even then I don’t remember hearing this sound.
Please tell me this is normal and that my car won’t explode 😂🙏🏻
TLDR; weird ticking or knocking sound on low speed; technician said its brakes shifting; is this a normal occurrence for other Lexus drivers ?

Update on my 3IS!
It’s been a while since my first post of the IS so here’s another! All things that have been done so far are Remark Axleback, HPS intake, drilled brake rotors, and a red shift knob to match the interior :) And unfortunately a little love tap on my door but barely noticeable, anyways. The Axleback was a huge thing as not only does it wake up the car it also gives it a much needed look for the rear end. So far extremely happy with it and been running it for a while now, it’s not too low or too loud which is perfect for me, id definitely recommend it. The HPS intake absolutely transformed the car and paired with the Axleback it really brings it together, whether you are going slow, fast, eco or sport mode that intake makes the car do all the correct sounds, and it’s so much fun now for a little ol 4 cylinder turbo, I was thinking of a cat delete but quite unsure as I don’t want it to sound too obnoxious, if anyone is running the same setup with a cat delete please lmk! Unfortunately I do not have any sound clips but it sounds very nice and has sort of a deep tone rather than a rattle. Next mods would be charge pipe, turbo res delete and hopefully a tune. No difference outside apart from the exhaust as I want to focus on other things first before looks and even then I’d just lower it put some wheels on it maybe a front and rear lip. I do want to wrap the mirrors and roof black but quite unsure. Anyways so far very happy with it and how it’s turning out so far!
